Industrial centrifugal and axial fans blowers manufacturer - Alveolar valves

Alveolar rotary valves are mostly used as locking elements or for extraction of granular or pulverized products while preventing air loses or intrusions. They are also used as volumetric dispensers to feed different types of machines in diverse industrial processes. A precisely regulated dosage can be achieved just by change of the rotation speed.

GRUBER HERMANOS alveolar rotary valves are of three different categories: with loose shaft end (TV arrangement), with attached drive running perpendicularly to the main shaft of the valve (B3 arrangement) and with attached drive, coaxial with the main shaft (DB5 arrangement).

COMMON CONSTRUCTIVE DETAILS

MAIN BODY AND SIDES :
In carbon steel, stainless steel or wear-proof steel. Carefully machined, they are over-dimensioned to allow for future adjustments.
ROTOR :
Forged steel hub and rolled steel blades.
TIGHTNESS :
It is achieved by means of packing glands easily interchangeable.
BEARINGS:
The rotor is supported on both ends by bearings set away from the body of the valve.
DRIVE :
Normally by means of a gear motor directly fitted to the shaft of the valve and with torque limiter to prevent the motor from overloading in case of blockages.
GEAR BOXES :
A wide range of speed reducers is available in order to achieve different capacities.
